Amazing Race: Toyota Land Cruisers

Now I'm not a reality show junkie, but I was flipping through and caught The Amazing Race. The contestants were driving Toyota Landcruisers (the ones that share the Prado/GX270/4Runner frames) in Ice Land.

One of the girls actually put regular gasoline into it when it specifically says on the gas tank cover that diesel is required. The mechanic had to drain the tank of the diesel gas...

one person always ends up doing that every season. one year the old guy that put the wrong fuel in actually ended up under the car on the side of the highway draining his own tank, which i thought was pretty cool.

Yah, I saw those too. The looked like the GX470 on the outside with a 4runner interior. The dash cetner console looked a bit different than the 4runner.

...dunno why people can't read the big "DIESEL FUEL ONLY" sign on the gas cap cover.

those were landcruiser prados and they're pretty dope. i saw the whole episode and you shoulda seen those people breakin in those land cruisers. they were going really fast cuz it's a race duh!
