I've never used them before but I'll give them a shot for the price.
The Silver Stars are a rip off, short life span for the price.

Blue-white light, yuck!

I'm not a fan of Blue either but from what I've read these are more White than Blue.
I work nights & my eyes are getting old. I hope these light up the road better than plain old yellow halogens. I will add additional lights when I get my plate bumper on.

I have no problems seeing at night with my '09 Accord EX-L Coupe. It lights the freaking road up.

My '97 F350 with projectors lights up the road too. Not sure what either has to do with these bulbs.

Blue light doesn't light better. Blue is the color that strays easier than any other color. That's why the sky and bodies of water are blue.

Thanks for the heads up, Scramble! I'm currently running Sylvania Silverstar Ultras, and they're still pretty yellow and only marginally brighter than OEM bulbs.. and they were $36, too!

I'll get a set of these for good measure.

At that price, I went ahead and bought a set. The bulbs didn't appear blue enough to scare me away, I'll update the thread when I get them installed.

i think i'm replacing those every 18 months or so.
