Amp power wire?

Hooking up a amp in my Runner,can I just use 4 stranded wire from Home Depot along with a fuse of course, or do I have to pay for a name brand i$$ instal kit? Thanks

Please use a kit with wire sized for your amp and an in line fuse as close as possible to the battery. leave the fuse out until everything is hooked up.

Yes, you can use the wire from Home Depot. Just make sure it's a big enough gauge to handle the power the amp will push. Just to warn you though...that wire is gonna stiff! The less strands there are in there, the stiffer it'll be. I bought my wire from Lowes. It's a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the "kit".
