Another Bilstein 5100 question

Looks like $360 seems to be the going rate for a full set of 5100s? Anyone know of any deals since I missed out on the amazon spree?

Everyone get shipping updates on those modern muscle steals? I hope it all works out for you guys, but I'm sceptical to say the least.

Says it shipped and gives a tracking number. So the label was created. It hasn't shipped though because when you go to track it there's nothing. Skeptical sounds pretty fair. I expected a refund or return when I placed the order. The only thing that sucks for them is that if they cancel our orders they get graded poorly within Amazon.

Had it been two weeks ago when I started piecing my setup together, I would have taken the risk as well. Fingers crossed for you guys!

My old setup. 5100 with 884 and 895E unloaded in top picture and loaded with about 160 pounds of gear in bottom picture. Mine lowered a bit when it settled. I'd say it yield a 2.5" front lift.

Did you use Front Spacers with the 884s? Looks like with only 160lbs or cargo you have a reverse rack.

I have the 2.5" setting with Daystar 1.5" in the rear and love the way it looks and drives

What tires are you driving/off roading with that sort of lift? I'm curious to stay at stock 265's or go a little wider with the 275's? I like how the 275's look though so would this lift work for stock or 275's? Thanks for the help.

Another shot of the 895E & 883 combo with 265's.

How do those 265's do in mud and loose gravel? I'm debting to either stay at 265 or go a little wider with the 275's.

I'm running 285 Cooper Discoverer ST Maxxs I absolutely love the tires. 265s or 275s would easily fit in this lift. I'm pretty sure 275s will fit without rubbing on a stock height.

I also got a shipping label created but no update on tracking yet. Once I get an update I will let you guys know.

If your reasoning for going 275/265 KO2 has to do with width... I don't think you'll find it justifiable because it's only a .3inch difference. I will go with 275's next time because they're almost an inch taller than 265's. See below for reference.

My 265's have never let me down. They are extremely capable and reliable and practical. I have never reached the limits of the tires until I was covered in mud one time. But to be fair I also wasn't aired down properly but then again, they aren't MUD TERRAINS. Next set will be 275 KO2's because they just look that little bit larger but marginally so. Unfortunately I'll be going from load C to E so just for the minor increase in size I'll be paying a 10lb per tire penalty.

265 KO2 load C = 31.6" tall / 10.7" wide / 45.7lbs
275 KO2 load E = 32.2" tall / 11" wide / 55.4lbs /

For the guyd that had shops install their 5100/spacers, what did you pay? I just stopped by a Toy. dealership and got quoted 700 just for the install/alignment....

I paid 340 with out the alignment - I just stopped in to a place with the parts. Everyone I called had outrageous numbers- 700-1200. I think they are seeing shop hours for kdss or something. toyota dealer wanted 675 just for fronts...

had to stop next to this SR5 day after install to get a pic, I know the street is not flat but hey the ride is so much less washy in every way and it looks killer in my eyes over stock :dancin:

Have you reached out to them? I did last night and haven't heard anything back. I asked them if they had an idea when they'd ship out since the label was created on the 12th and they still haven't shipped.
