Another Bilstein 5100 set-up question(s)

Sorry about that, definitely have the 885 (edited my post) so the medium duty. I'm thinking I don't want to do a 3" lift honestly. So I'll probably forgo the OME now knowing that. Good thing I got them at cost, can just resell I'm sure. I get a little mod happy since this stuff is so much cheaper in relation to my supra so I just kinda pulled the trigger too fast.

Honestly, I don't want to go more than 2" I'm more so wanting to level out and replace springs so it's not so "mushy" feeling. I will eventually get the GOBI roof rack, will get TRD skid plate.

No winch, no bumpers, no cargo drawers.

I do have some 17" SCS Stealth six wheels coming in. Will be upgrading tires, probably 265/70 or 265/75 depending on potential rub.

BTW, I lived in edmond for several years. Moved to Kansas City in 2010 for work. I lived off Western and the tollway for a while, also off Grand and May too. Played softball at Oklahoma City University.

Ok here is what I would do so your not duplicating parts but also have the option of upgrading at a later date.

Front 5100's at 1.75" - alignment and done, no UCAs
Rear 5100's - done

Sell the springs, if you lift probably be to rough anyway with no extra weight on the front end.

Tires- you can do 265/70/17 or 275/70/17 - If your towing the supra go with 265's if not I'd do bfg ta ko 275's and it would look great. I doubt you have any rubbing if your offsets are close to stock. If they rub it would be very minimal and easily fixed.

I like the look of the rear being slightly higher than the front, I have front and read 5100s coming in, plan was to do 1.75 on the front, and add a 1.5" spacer on the rear. Does that make sense?

I have the above setup with 275/70s but I also have a 1' Cornfed rear coilspring spacer. Gave me about 1.25" rake which is perfect for me. With no spacer I was almost dead level which resulted in being nose-high when any gear or rear passengers were present, especially so if towning even a small trailer. Ride is awesome, way better than stock. You'll be pleased.

One quick question for those running 1.75 front on zero rears...how much weight do you find you can add to the truck before you see the rear sag? I haven't seen this anywhere. Are we talking about normal daily hauling of up to 100 lbs of groceries and a rear seat passenger or two, or are we talking about the 800 lbs of quick Crete like mentioned earlier?

the way the rocker is it looks neg raked or saggy to me unloaded w 1.75"/0".
stock springs are soft, just accelerating from stop will make it squat, 800lb of quickcrete and you're basically a hardtail riding on the bump stops

I know the look is entirely subjective based on whether you are focusing on wheel wells or the frame. Just don't want to try to pull max lift and end up squatting so much in daily use that it looks ridiculous.

1.75 will give you negative rake without any additional weight.

Here is 5100's set at .85, stock rear. I did tons of research prior to adding mine, .85 is perfect IMHO. Way to many people have reverse rake at 1.75, it is not worth it. Yea, their wheel wells look level, but everything else looks odd.

This is with just 1.75" setting up front and no rear lift.

90% of the time it sits perfectly level, 5% of the time the front is slightly lower and 5% of the time the front is slightly higher... all depending upon the ground level.

If anything, I'll just put a 1" spacer on the driver side to correct the lean issue which should lift the rear L about .65" and the rear R about .35" from what I've heard.

I just had my 5100 installed Thursday. Set on max height / setting front. Gives the slightest negative rake... 1/4” at most. Ordered a 1 inch rear spacer. Running stock wheels with 275/70 KO2’s. No other mods. Rides like a truck, stiffer but smooth. Pavement princess lol. No rub at all for me

Bilstein 5100s all around 1.75 up front, 1" spacer in rear

I installed 5100s all around with the 1.75" setting up front and 1" spacer in the rear to preserve a little factory rake. All springs are stock. Then I threw on some 265/70R/17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s and went camping! In this shot it's still nice and shiny before hitting the trails.

Have you installed your 5100 and have it set at the top setting (2.5)? How does it feel?

I have 1.5"rear lift springs in the back whe the front are set at 1.7. Im debating on lifting the front to the highest setting to make it a bit more level.
