I’m having a hard time understanding installing through the rails. Can I get a visual aid? If not, no big.

Sounds like you got the worse customer service out of them all. Sorry to hear that. I’ve been waiting on a replacement wind fairing. Last I heard from Zach or CBI was a month ago. Classic response. I’ll second taking my biz else we’re for anymore gear.

I got the full length rack and baja ladder intalled today. No issues with the fit. Ladder clears everthing even with the rear crossbar installed. Ill try to get some pictures up tomorrow

If you install this ladder you will have to uograde the rear door struts. The factory ones are to weak to even hold the door up. If anyone has any questions ask away. The install is pretty straight foward. The load panels are a pain in the ass to intall after the rack is mounted. I wish i would have did them while the rack was on the ground

Thanks. For the wiring i tucked it into the trim running beside rhe front windshield. There is a little groove and my wiring harness fit perfectly.

Basically it is just mounting the tent on the rack and to take it off you unscrew the bolts on the side that hold the cross bars on. I got a couple extra so i could leave them on the tent and not be missing any when I took it off.
Bummer you are getting the run around too. I had some guys that specialized in aluminum look at the stress cracks in mine and they didn't seem too concerned as far as the integrity of the rack - they said that can happen when you rush bending the mounts. Problem is it looks like crap and if I ever try to sell it that is going to be a big area of concern.
Oh well, good luck with your fairing.

So I've had this "drivetrain vibration" between 35-40 miles an hour, not always the same. I did drain and fill in trans thinking maybe rumble strip transmission issue, new fluid and filter wouldn't hurt it at this mileage anyway, still have vibrations. I pulled all the wheels and brakes off to inspect wheel bearings, rotors, grease driveshaft zerks, pull sway bars off, check all suspension bushings and ball joints. Needed rest pads but everything else still good, still have vibrations. So now onto why I'm posting this in the Prinsu thread, today I get the bright idea to open my sunroof while I hear the vibe and grab the front most cross bar, it's resonating like a tuning fork! Grabbing it stops the dull what I thought was drivetrain hum. So what I found was that leaving the crossbar over the sunroof out makes the front of the rack heavy and unsupported and it says side to side on a very small vibration size level. Adding the crossbar back over the sunroof fixed it.

Wife said she noticed a bit of feedback in the steering wheel and the rear view mirror at 70. It was after i added another cross bar one or two spots from the front of the rack. I removed it and am gonna see what she says next time she goes on the freeway.

Ive been pleased with my order from prinsu/cbi. They were 2weeks over the original quote but there was plenty if communication. And i am beyond happy with the quality and look of my full length rack. It sucks waiting on stuff but this rack was exactly what i wanted.

1/4-20 carriage bolts and eye nuts. I tried getting some front runner m8 and built my own m6 in stainless and they are too big. 1/4-20 anything fits perfect.

I ordered mine from prinsu when i ordered the rack. They were pricey but what the heck at least i knew they would work.
