I received my order just a little over 4 weeks. I was worried about the PC job, but it came out to be very smooth and not rough like others I've seen in this thread. I haven't checked to see if all the hardware is there, but so far so good!

The rack is on its way again. Wrong shipping info was the issue. 4 weeks from order to arrival.

If you install this ladder you will have to uograde the rear door struts. The factory ones are to weak to even hold the door up. If anyone has any questions ask away. The install is pretty straight foward. The load panels are a pain in the ass to intall after the rack is mounted. I wish i would have did them while the rack was on the ground

Nice Rig and thanks for the photos and notes: My plan is to get the 3/4 Prinsu with the Gobi ladder soon. Your mention of the rear door struts capacity is the first I've heard of this with Gobi ladder.

Any other Gobi Ladder folks have any input/solutions?

i also have a small hatchet and a shovel mounted on the inside if the door . That might make a little difference but my factory struts wouldnt even hold the door up if i pushed ut up by hand

You can order some upgraded struts that will handle the weight from gobi. Much nicer than a dowel.

The dowel rod can probably stay back there for propping emergency's

This is what i used for mine. They are upgraded for ppl with ladders. Liftsupport depot is alot cheaper than gobi.

I was happy to find the 1x1" bar with my other cross bars.

Does the hardware look right? I think they gave me a few spares, but gave me one less tie down eye nut.

Yea I'm not too worried about it. Main use for my rack will be a wedge hardshell RTT, no need for tie downs lol.

People are still waiting on their rack? Ordered mine 11/3, shipped 11/14 and received 11/16. :thumb:

Since I was not expecting to get the rack this quick, I am yet to open the packaging to check the contents. Hopefully everything is there and correct.

I am also thinking of going with no-drill option, machining a standoff with recessed bolt hole which will mount onto the side plate's front mounting point then 3M VHB between standoff and roof. Has anybody done this or something similar?

Recent Prinsu buyers question/feedback...do they charge upfront? or on delivery?

Prinsu rack arrived via UPS today. Well boxed and no damage on the package.

All the hardware is accounted for and the powder coating looks better than I expected, which is to say, no damage.
Assembly is fairly straight forward. Waiting for a friend to come over to help lift it onto the roof. Ill get more pics up after instal but its time for car line.
