While I was at the tire shop today getting a warranty claim done on my Cooper AT3s I browsed their rim selections. I had decided I want the Black Rock Yuma before I was in the tire shop today. I ask the counter guy to get me a quote on the Yumas with duratracs as the tires. He proceeded to call him rim distributor who told him the Yumas would not work, they would make my tires stick out to far because the offset was way off the stock. He suggested the Ultra Bolt 198b, which I could live with I think as far as style goes. I took his quote for the Ultras and said I would get back to him.
Is this guy full of crap?
Ultras website gives no real rim details, the Offset just says RWD. The black rocks have a 0 off set and 4.5 rear spacing. I know some you guys run the black rocks, do they stick out really far past the fenders? The pics I searched for the tires did not look excessively stuck out in the Black rocks
