Anti-Mods

And yet in this same forum, after you deleted several of my comments that were in disagreement with yours, someone asked about a double standard with you. Which happens to be one of the many things that you are now being called out for. How funny is that.

Perhaps I was wrong with that assumption, perhaps it is for crash safety, or perhaps it serves a double duty with towing capacity so the vehicle levels out when weight is in the back. This was admitted by you to be "possibly true" with trucks. So why not the same principle be used in SUVs, specifically the 4runner.

However, I WAS RIGHT about bala 2 plata, I told him he was screwing up his truck, you and him *****ed at me about it, how I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about, and look what happened. I told you so.

Wow, you must be a follower all your life...hey, don't jump off that cliff just because someone else did it! :D Pathetic.

YOU ARE WRONG. CJ3Flyr is right. What do trucks and SUVs differ in?? Payload.

As for bala, i was only critical of your dumb assumptions...Bala can do whatever he wants with his truck...it's none of my business. However, i have a problem with people like YOU who butts into member's ideas and criticizes their ride. Hey, why don't you whin about ARB front bumper and crash safety hazard?? Oh yeah, i prove you wrong there too!

Hint: shut up and keep learning or just shut up. How does that sound from the "new" me?? :D

What my 4Runner use to look like...

Mmmm. They look tastey... I must say upon seeing gkatmar's black runner with those gunmetal FJ rims, i was sold. Very good look. I'll be doing some more research in the coming weeks. Thanks!

I generally agree, although lately I've been seeing black rims with silver/chrome center caps and outside edge of the rim where the tire meets...and it looks HOTT.
Black 4R, Black Rims, Lifted.:bash:

Not this 4runner but my previous truck. I had aftermarket "stickon" dash. It looks cheesy and cheap. I regretted it forever. I couldn't remove it because of the glue.

net4n6, wait you regret that? Your Runner looks sweet!!

I just response to some posts regarding "do not like black rims look". I love my runner. The bad (dirty), the good (clean), the ugly (snow while camping). Different people have different views. I respect everyone's opinion.

Although others claimed black rims look bad on all vehicles, I merely said it just looked bad on mine. If they had some silver in them like yours, or if my truck wasn't so dark already, they might look better.

Either way, yours looks good with the rims/lift. :bigok:

Anti-Mods?.....Just my wheels! I ordered 18" Pro Comp 7028's and then decided to go with Rockstars instead! I have them for sale for about $400 less than what I paid last month. Their still in boxes if anyone is interested PM me!! Thanks to this forum you can learn a lot and decide some of your options before you commit to any changes on your ride! I'm very happy with all the mods I've done so far and even the wheels - I think the Pro Comps are better made it's just that I've always liked the wide star look of the Rockstars and didn't know they would fit until after I had the first ones on....!!!

I put a set of black tail light guards on my 4Runner and then took them off after I realized they probably weren't strong enough to make it through the carwash.

some anti-mods,

TRD exhaust. Removed TRD muffler and put stock muffler back on. Kept exhaust pipes though.

Sunroof wind deflector. It made the wind louder.

Some Pro-Comp wheels. They rubbed calipers, I would have kept them if they fit properly.

Silverstars in my fogs. Burnt out too quickly.

I'm still running the SS fogs but I had the same issue. I used to use the fogs a lot but now only when I actually need them. They burnt out so fast I contacted Sylvania about it and they mailed out a new set for free. They said the fogs are rated for 100 hours and in the winter I don't think they lasted for more than 2 months

My anti-mod is not to lower the 4runner. Every vehicle i've owned previously has been pretty much slammed. This is my attempt to break the cycle a bit (but i still got my lowered Civic just in case i need to low ride)
