ANTMAN'S Thread

Antman you never seem to amaze me with the things that you do to that rig...I hadn't been over here in the 5th Gen section in a bit. I figured I would come over here and see what you had been cooking up. Looking awesome as usual....definitely want to see the updates at the Cove this year.

Couple more shots of my wood...lmao. The piece over the glovebox is covered lexan sheet,

I'm done with this one.

That's exactly the look I was going for, lol. Carbon fiber is so 90's rice-ish IMO.

Something different. Great thing is, I can pull it off and recover with any one of a million different patterns later. Hell, I may get a custom pattern with a picture of Pat one day...

One day I will be doing something similar ( different wraps of course ) the interior pieces do start to show wear with use over the years. I am sure yours were well in need.

.....and I thought those pins with your kids face for soccer teams were bad.....

What pattern you going with? Stuff is amazing to work with. I stuck the heat gun in my vice and it was easy to control the heat/stretch hands free.

I used to HATE wood. I'm gettin' to be like philsey

Nice work. The only thing I would change is giving bevel or round edge to a lexan piece and revinyl again. Some like this?:

Look at you...you're handling wood, stretching wood, showing off your wood, next thing you know, you'll be asking people to touch your wood. :whoo:

I need to find some cedar strip trim to go with my boat, love it by the way!

I have an Antman challenge, if you chose to accept.

My dad now has COPD and always needs oxygen. Long days are challenging with only oxygen tanks to haul around.

Antman's challenge - In car Oxygen Mod ..

No soup for me

Yep, CWS vinyl- $26 with shipping for a "sample" sheet! Still have quite a bit left over. There are a few spots that aren't perfect but I doubt most people could find them. I know they are there, lol.

Tell Doug he better behave or no more good Scotch for him...HA!

Started a project for 4RnRGrl- a basic 2 drawer storage box and possibly a slide-out table.

I'm building the box in my 4Runner and it'll transfer into hers when it's done.

We'll see how this plays out!
