Any 4.7 DIY intakes out there?

Not so much a 4th gen, but the intake on my 1UZ VVTi is very similar.
As I was fitting into a 3rd gen engine bay with twin batteries I placed it here, as high up and far back as possible, housing the largest filter I could fit. the key is keeping the MAF sensor the same distance from the throttle body as much as possible.
Cold air is fed using this ducting which is fed through the hood scoop
Scoop was a factory 3rd gen item, for an intercooled surf.
It works well for me, after a drive the air filter is cold to the touch, so its not sucking in warm as air you'd expect from the first pic.
Probably worth mentioning that there is a performance hit if you delete the factory intake resonators, wasn't an issue for me as they wouldn't fit anyway.
More info on how I built the ducting in my build thread.. annoyingly I'll probably have to redo it now anyway to make room for the supercharger!

Here's mine! With an aFe prodry filter and carbon filter removed. A little more sound and a slightly cleaner look, most likely no real gains.

Cool..Thanks. Like I mentioned not looking for gains. It's basically for some sound and my desire to modify (within reason). Plus, I have some tubing I had laying around from a past car I didn't get to build an intake for.
