Bought a Giant Talon 0 29er back in April. Haven't done much to it other than swapped to the Maxxis tires with a tubeless conversion. Only gotten to ride it a handful of times but I love it. Had a Trek 4300 before and it was a total piece of crap.
Wow. Almost parallel lives! I just ditched my POS Trek 4100 and today I brought home the same Giant Talon 0, 29er!

seems you got a lot of speed going there, and those Lefty's still freak me out, but man it just seems like a dirt trail. Is there no obstacles to work?

What do you guys think about a 06' model Giant Anthem? It has new maxis tires on it. A guy wants to sell his and I'm trying to get into biking on a budget for now. How much do you thinks its worth? Don't know of any other aftermarket things on it. Any help is appreciated.

Look at the video around 2:45 to 3:00 and look at the drop to the right and rocks to the left. No obstacles? This is standard riding in WV unless you want to ride rock gardens. We have hundreds of miles of trails like this here but most don't have fancy bridges like [MENTION=44268]Quint[/MENTION]in is riding on lol. Usually you have to ride through the creeks! I also noticed his trees are stationary too. Usually when I ride the trees sometimes move out as I go by and hit my hands. Sometimes one jumps right out in front of me too. They must be tame trees down in the valley where Quintin rides. Up here trees are unpredictable lol.
There is a ton of technical riding here... it just makes for a boring ass video. Here is a goofy video I made for when I took my buddy mountain biking for his bachelor party. We were going slow so I didn't leave him behind.

Nice, I've since sold that frame and purchased the Air 9 carbon frame. Very comfortable and not as jarring as the scandium frame.

unfortunately, I just sold mine an hour ago, lol. But out of the 2 i have, thats the one that *could* go. Need a cheap commuter car for a potential new job in Denver. If it doesnt work out, Ill buy a single speed CX bike for races

I do a few days a year with them. I usually spend time training people how to trim trees without causing decay
