I used to ride a road bike, but recently got back I to mountain biking. I've got an old trek 4300 that is in need of replacement or upgrade. Probably replacement since it's ten years old and has been sitting in the garage for the past 7 years. New air and tubes, some chain lube and it's going again... who knows.

I love it. It's flat in Houston so not many hills to climb. Are you getting one? Hows the terrain over there?

I mostly ride mountain trails with a fair bit of climbing.. I could maybe drop to a single gear up front, but definitely need the rear cassette for the hills!

Love the Grease XX1, Im going to try to pick one up this fall/winter. All winter on the trainer sucked ass. Here are my 2 bikes.
1. Road bike is a Carbon Cervelo R3 with SRAM Red components
2. Mtn. Bike is a Niner Air9 Carbon with SRAM XX1 components

Hey guys, just picked up a 2015 Giant Stance 2 27.5. I am so pumped to finally have a bike and not have to rent any longer. Was able to talk the seller down from $1200 to only $880! I am super stoked and cant wait to hit the trails!

I have already purchased Shimano A530 SPD Pedals and will be heading to the nearest cycle shop to get some other things for it. Would eventually like to upgrade the brakes and shifters. But taking it a step at a time.

First your going to be pissed and then your going to start smiling from ear to ear. 27.5+ is just insane.

And the best part is when your friends have to brake for a corner and you fly up to there rear tire because you don't need to brake. Your going to notice your cadence speed is the same and your going to notice you pretty much don't need to brake as much because the bike handles so much better.
