Any NFL/Fantasy football fans?

So, I did some looking around and didn't find a thread about this, so I figured I'd start one. Mods, feel free to close it though if I over looked an existing thread.

How many people here are football fans? How many play fantasy football as well?

Over the last several years, I've kind of become a football junkie again and have really gotten into playing fantasy football as well; it helps make watching all season more fun to me.

It can work both ways.. I dont like to get to serious into it and the group I play with shy away from putting money in. Too much drama, we chipped in for a trophy. I was in 3 leagues last year and won two of them thanks to odell beckham.

I've been in two leagues the last couple years, though may end up just being in one this year since I no longer work with the people in one of them anymore. That one was a minor pay league and was lots of fun; the other one I'm in is strictly just for fun, no money on it what so ever. I just like to have fun with it really.

Yeah it is fun, I am just not playing in a big buy in league anymore. Too much quitters and people selling players to try and get their money back.

Understandable, and one of the reasons why I've never thought about joining a big money league. I have more fun knowing it's just for fun and stress less because I'm not losing anything in real life if I lose the league.

It would be fun if it wasnt for all those sore losers. I know 200$ is a lot but you put it in and agreed to it.. Now its in my pockets..:evil:

Im a chargers fan, first game I ever went to.. Even if I only did get to watch the leaf.. Lol but been faithful since.
Im living in WA now dealing with these out of nowhere seahawks fans.

I like the chargers, and they look to have the makings of a good team again this year. If I had to pick a favorite team, I'd have to say the ravens, though I miss the Ray Lewis/Ed Reed teams dearly. And I like rooting for the rams since I'm in the St. Louis, MO area.

And I feel for you about the seahawks fans..... they're just terrible, and yet somehow, they're all been fans for at least 15 years suddenly.... :crazy:

I am a huge football fan and this is exactly why I love Fantasy Football. It gets me to watch other games, and keeps me interested in other games. I have been in way too many leagues the last couple years, going to try to keep it down to 2 this year though. I had a bunch of drama in the league I run last year so had to boot a couple people.

Loves m3 some fantasy football but usually ends up being kick ass in the first two to three weeks then swan dive. That being said we should do a t4r.org league this year, no money just for fun.

That isn't a bad plan! That is usually how I do, really good the first half the season then can't win to save my life the last half. Broke even one league last year at 3rd Place.

I've played the last two seasons. First season I didn't really know what I was doing and didn't come out too well. Last season I placed third. It's definitely made my football watching more entertaining. Haven't tried any money leagues and don't plan on it. I just don't care to be that involved. I'd be in for a T4R league for fun this season if someone sets it up.

That is pretty strange! I don't like playing with people like that, and I try to fair with what is going on. My drama last year was from 2 groups of friends who didn't know each other and a sarcastic joke was said. Everyone flipped out, so I had to boot a few people at the end of the year.

One thing I don't like about non-paying leagues is a lot of people tend to drop out after the first few weeks. If you have money on the line you have more incentive to play each week(generally speaking).

I could be down. Huge football fan, but last year was the first time I played FF. I liked it, but largely because it was with a group of my good friends. Easy going, lots of sh*t talk, but no one taking it too seriously. I'm down if it's like that.

I may participate. I am typically in about 3-6 leagues.
