Any recommendations for an air spring kit? ('05 SR5)

Have you ever installed air bags on a 4runner or are you thinking of some other vehicle? There is no way your method will be easier or faster on a 4runner.

4th gen?

I don't know what kind of air bags you installed but the AirLift bags do not fold or compress enough w/o damaging them to squeeze thru the coils.

Look dude, I have a 2005 4-Runner V8 Limited and I'm just trying to explain that it's easier to install them without removing all of the components. Have you even looked to see how much of a gap there is between the springs when jacking the frame up? If you don't think so or are not able too then fine. Leave it to others to decide on how they want to install them. You chose your way right? They're always easier ways than what the manufacturer states. It's just the way I chose and it was a piece of cake.

I had the Airlift bags in my Grand Cherokee and loved them so much that I just ordered a pair for my 4Runner. They haven't arrived yet.

I'm a little confused by the talk about disconnecting things, and 4-hour installs. The Airlift bags simply fit inside the coils, there is no need to disconnect or change anything. They took 5 minutes to install (plus half an hour to run the airline back to the hitch where I have the inflation nipple).

Am I missing something???

I tried it again today and can not get the airbags down enough to even get close to going through the coil. I even tried standing on them to compress them with my full weight (205 lbs) and reversing a compressor. They must be another type of airbag that was used or compressed another way that I can't figure without creating damage to them.

PS: The airbags I'm using are not red they are black.
