Any suggestions for toytec lift config

Im am ready to order my lift and am not sure what springs and shocks I should run in the rear, I will be towing a pop-up and a few other smaller trailers. Was thinking of Front: 650 coils with 5100 bilstiens and rear: 891 coils with 5152 Bilstiens. Also want to go with 2" body in hopes of some 305's. Looking forward to hearing from all the talented people on the forum.

891s are designed for some additional weight so they should hold up fine to trailering. I've heard 891s can be a little rough when unloaded though. The front and shocks sound just fine though. With the BL you will have plenty of room for 305s with minimal trimming.

Unless you plan on running with no sway bar to cushion the feel from the front, i would go with a 600lb coil for a daily driver . I run 650s on my Icons with no swaybar and it drives great, however, without the proper valving and running a sway up front i think it would make for a pretty stiff ride.

i just put the OME 890's and Bilstein 5125's on about 4 weeks ago. I really like the ride and everythings starting to settle. Some folks say the ride is a bit stiff, but I don't like bouncing around. I don't tow anything so the 891's aren't really necessary for my applications. If you decide on the 5125'2, make sure you tighten the poop out of the ny-lock nuts they provide for the upper mount brackets. Check them again once the truck is back on the ground. A lot of folks have had issues with those coming loose. Some just weld them -

Should have mentioned that, yeah 650s will be a great fit for your setup then.

650lb coils will be good if you want good handling and you like taking turns fast
600lb will flex better off road and ride smoother.

I have the Tundra TRD/Bilstein 5100 front lift (595lb coils) with an arb front bumper and a winch and it rides smooth up front. I don't even run the front anti-sway bar, but I don't drive it like a racecar :lookout: either.

i have the 600 up front and the 890s in the back and 285s and i love the lift , if your going get a bumper and winch i would get the 650s , i wouldn't get the 891s unless you are going to add some weight to the rear like a rear bumper or a lot of gear all the time . my friend has 891s and the ride is a little ruff .
