Any suggestions on Tacoma Forums

Figured I would post here since in own a 3rd Gen Runner and this is where majority of my help comes from. Im looking for a Double Cab Tacoma 4x4 Auto. Im doing some research now but hoping to find an 02-07 without a crap load of miles. Really leaning towards and 06-07 just for the newer body style.

What forums are you all using for Tacoma's with a good layout like T4R and good info?

If you have any Tacoma in that year range, what issues are you noticing?

As mentioned TacomaWorld. I'm a member on there since i bought my Tacoma. Good deals on there too, i bought this set of brand new still in the box SCS wheels from a local tw member for $600 and this 94 3xlocked Landcruiser as pictured for $1700 from another local tw member. I love TW!

Thanks. I’ll definitely check out Tacoma world. Hopefully I can find a nice one and get some good knowledge from that forum. Wheels look good in that Taco also

Tacoma world is ridiculous. It's more like facechat than a car forum. You can find good info and advice but have read through the BS. Get a 2gb. 2012+ have the upgraded interior and front end.

I wish t4r had a Tacoma sub forum. The layout here is clean and nice to me similar to a few other forums I look at. Browsing through the Tacoma sites, they all do seem a bit clunky with an odd layout.
2012 is nice but out of the price range I want to be in for a daily driver truck.
 
Don't forget Yotatech, which covers both 4Runners and Tacos in a single forum. Not as active as it once was, but a huge repository of good info from years past.

Couldn't agree more.

I know lots of people love the 2nd gens, but my 3rd gen is light-years better than my 2nd gen. YMMV.

I remember that site when I first got my Runner, I haven't looked at it in years but that's a good option. I see the Frame rust issue seems to be one of the biggest problems going on to date now

It was ok, but for the life of me I don't understand the love for the 4.0L motor. Mine was an absolute dog compared to my 3rd gen. The interior was nothing to write home about either, but it was dependable and never really gave me any issues.

Go drive one and see what you think.
 
Will do, been trying to find someone with one that I know to try out. Don't see any on lots near by that don't look like they have been treated bad
