Any way to disable auto featuire of rear window?

Hello all,

We have dogs, and I like being able to roll the rear window down for them( (which was a selling feature for us for the 5th gen 4runner). But when driving if I go to hit the rear window switch it usually does the auto feature and decides to roll itself all the way down. I then am worried about the dogs trying to jump out, etc. I can usually catch it then roll it back up, then when I get a better opportunity then finagle the switch to the manual mode and roll it down part way, but its kind of touchy for when you are trying to concentrate on driving,etc. Any way to disable this auto feature? Even if I have to remove the switch and cut the green wire etc? I can't see any possible need for ever needing it to roll itself down all the way unless I explicitly want to, which I am then fine with holding the switch an extra 3 seconds. I tried searching but wasn't able to find anything (unless I am searching wrong)

I think this can be programmed via the Carista App. I will have to check when i get home.

Lock your windows by the switch on driver door armrest. It will prevent all passenger windows from being able to roll down, including the rear hatch.

This is an option in Carista. I did not turn it off, so can't verify that it was a functioning option.

Use a lighter, quick touch on the button. I usually do this when parking on a hot day and only want it down an inch or two.

This. Another option is, when the window starts down, lightly flip the switch to the up mode. The window will stop.
