Anybody else have tailgate seal leak in rain?

Just noticed this today and it appears to be between the hatch and the seal where it is coming in from although not very bad just a few drops but enough to upset me and a google search turned up almost nothing so I am wondering if this is just an odd isolated case or if maybe others have experienced this as well?

Isolated case me thinks.
It is after all a rubber seal and will dry and flatten out over time.

Kind of what I was thinking plus this Florida sun is brutal so rubber stands almost no chance although it did "look" good from the visual test.

i had a leak because after a time of moisture i would notice water stains on my cargo cover..... the visual test didn't yield and obvious leak points but it definitely had to be at the top area of the seal where the rear hatch closes...
new weather seal might fix?

Try cleaning & lubing it with

your favorite rubber treatment stuff. Or find some kind of rubberized seal you can mold into place? Or at worst i guess replace it. Mine is still holding. My driver door has a piece about 5" long torn off-its so soft a coathanger could easily get caught on it and rip to shreds, doesn't look good but it also doesn't leak, yet anyway.
