Anybody out there?

Ok I missed the weekend runs as I have finals... Ill look around for the next one :)

Hey guys, I am new to the site, and relatively new to DC for that matter.... I have been pretty busy lately but now that work is slowing down a little, I would love to get out and explore some of the fireroads that have been mentioned. I have been to Rausch Creek a couple times and its awesome, but I would love to be able to do some day wheeling trips that aren't quite so far. I will keep an eye on this thread for anyone planning trips so if anyone want to go just let me know!

This weekend has gotten filled up for me...redeye back from San Francisco tonight, birthday party tomorrow, and driving to Richmond Sunday for mothers day.

Been looking to hit GWF myself. I posted Saturday before I left for the Cove but there were no takers! Couldn't have much fun on a solo run but it was cool just driving around and scouting for the next trip.

Yeah I didn't see your post until it was too late. I need to change my notifications for this thread to "instant" so I don't miss any possible trips. Would you be up for a day trip on Sunday?

Just changed my notifications as well! Sunday would be a last minute decision for me, really trying to get in some fishin and dirt ridin this weekend but I will post on here by Friday at the latest.
 
Tuckertaxi and I are planning to go sat currently. We're meeting torrow to finish his cb install. What do you guys think about saturday instead of Sunday?

Man, I just ordered all the parts for my CB earlier in the week...too bad they haven't come in yet we could have killed two birds with one stone.

As far as this weekend goes, my schedule is clear so I can go whenever on Saturday or Sunday. I have just been itching to hit the trails.
 
sweet! just got your PM too with contact info so I'll give you a call later when I'm with TuckerTaxi and we're finalizing our plans. We're talking about camping at flag pole on saturday night if you're interested in that also. That also means we can meet up sunday for a morning run if anyone wants to come sunday but can't come saturday. Not 100% on the camping yet but seems very likely!

Awesome sounds good! Unfortunately, I am going to have to pass on the camping...When my wife and I moved to the DC area, we only brought a 5X8 trailer so a lot of stuff was left behind and unfortunately my camping gear was one of the casualties. I am definitely still up for a day trip though. About how far out is flag pole?
