Next mod: CB RADIO!!!

+1 I'm looking for one also. Let me know where you mount it, I'm debating on a detachable roof mount or a rear bumper mount. I'm also toying with the idea of a police scanner. . . decisions decisions.

nice pics! I'll post a couple more later when I get around to converting them, etc.

I've now decided to skip the CB install, simply try out my handheld marine one next time, and install my suspension in the next couple weeks instead. Definitely caught the lift bug on the trails.

I'm debating waiting and getting the 5100 adjustables up front and maybe a 1" spacer for the rear but will probably just throw on what I've got and see how I like it first.

My buddy at work has all the tools needed and has done a bunch of suspension work on his own trucks and he's saying just do that, install new stuff later if desired since its no big deal. Glad I found someone with experience to help me, although he hasn't worked on a T4R before.

Glad you made it out all the way from Williamsburg, and thanks for the CB radio tutorial! I'll be sure to bug you again when my bank account recovers and I'm ready to do the dual battery.

I'll be down to go again in a couple weeks with my lift on, for sure. I don't think I'll make it out to my boat for the CB though.

THIS is why I'm finally getting around to lifting. I know it wont be nearly as nice but it'll look less like jonseyyy's little sister.

I set the date for a week from sat, case of beer and one of my old tv's in exchange for my buddy's help (garage, tools, hands, etc). Works for me since I wasn't sure how to get rid of that TV anyway!

With all of the trucks lined up I definitely look like the runt of the group, especially with that rake. I've been looking at new suspension setups so if you guys see any good deals let me know!

Guys, just a friendly reminder to take all your valuable stuff out of your truck when you get home from a fun weekend. Some ******* busted my passenger window last night and stole my garmin, Viair compressor, and craftsman tool set. For some reason they left the fridge alone, but managed to scratch up my door and put a hole in the passenger seat. Thankfully I have a $0 deductible on theft/vandalism, but the feeling of being violated still really pisses me off.

From now on, NOTHING stays in the truck.

Took a last minute trip to OBX. Needed to ditch town after the break-in. My GF's car got broken into THE VERY NEXT DAY after mine. Anyways, installed the new ARB awning and that thing ROCKS! Would highly recommend it, sets up quick, is sturdy, and can handle typical beach wind gusts without guy lines.

LMAO!! I'm bad for my own wallet. My apologies for not getting the pics up yesterday. I got me a new smoker and spent all day cooking yesterday. I will absolutely get them up today.


joneseyyy, next time you take a trip past Williamsburg let me know. I will throw some flesh on the grill.

That goes for the rest of y'all as well. I'm always looking for an excuse for cookin and wrenchin.

update: my boat bill is only 98 bucks! WOOHOO!

In cleaning the truck, however, I think I damaged the clearcoat on one of my new wheels so DTD is shipping out a new wheel today. I just have to pay for dismounting and remounting/balancing/road-forcing when it comes. Unfortunately, that plus my 60k service might postpone my lift this weekend because I definitely want to align right after it! I think the culprit was the tire cleaning foam dripping on the wheel finish, no more tire foam for this guy...

ps, I bought the WaterJet from CVS and it worked really well in cleaning the dirt off without damaging anything. I was cautious in the engine bay as it was my first time but all went smoothly.
