ps, I bought the WaterJet from CVS and it worked really well in cleaning the dirt off without damaging anything. I was cautious in the engine bay as it was my first time but all went smoothly.

Adding to list of things to buy... Good news on the boat but bad news on the wheels! BTW I painted my wheels over the weekend and have them on the truck! I really like the bigger wheels but now I'm hurting for a lift.

joneseyyy - Ouch dude, that's a string of bad luck but that awning is sweet! I'll have to see if I can get something similar for my ride.

Seabee - def will! We left DC at 5:30am yesterday and passed Williamsburg at 8:30am so the timing wasn't good. I think we will try to do at least one more OBX weekend after labor day. Still thinking about dual battery but just spent $500 on broken glass (both cars) and $250 replacing stolen tools and my Viair pump.

Jpless - now that the boat is fixed, when are we getting out the water? Haha.

Mike, your parents live in Bethany...know of any off-roading spots nearby?

We could definitely make a trip and run some trails in addition to the boat or just go out and have a day on the boat if anyone's interested.

I'm sure I'll be heading there before the end of august with the family so maybe I'll set aside a day to take out whoever wants to come? I'll keep you all posted.

Hmmm. Good question. I have not really thought about it but, probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $180. What do you think?

I will post a pic of where I mounted my switch, but it is directly underneath the tach.

$180 isn't bad, is it powerdercoated? It looks pretty good and I feel like it needs some tweaks but I can't put my finger on them. I'm thinking maybe a touch shorter but overall it looks solid! I'm shopping around for some lights (and OME...) so hopefully I can come down soon to check it out.

I'm down! We might not have as many people as the West Coast but at least we got someone with a boat!!

I have never found any offroading other than the beach....unfortunately.

I just painted it 'cause I was anxious to get it put on, but I could easily have it powdercoated. I reckon I will have to go down and see how much my powdercoater would charge. If you are good at photoshop, I would like to see your ideas. Two pairs of eyes are always better than one. As far as it being solid, it is pretty stout for being just a light bar. You can grab it and start shaking the truck around without it flexing. If you want to drive down this weekend, I'm lighting-off the smoker at about 0500 on Saturday morning. Grub will be ready to go at around 1300.

I'm down for an october trip! I'm already planning the second and third weekends of october to head out to GWNF or Shenandoah. One for backpacking and one for wheeling, haven't decided which weekend is which yet.

I don't know of any in that area. Most of the ones i know of have been shut down, or so i have been told. I haven't taken my t4r on any trails yet but i am very excited to do so.

Seebee and might have to do a grill off. I make some killer Carolina style bbq

I look forward to it. I am in the process of obtaining an FJ suspension swap. I hope it will be done before Oct. I also happen to have some 285/70/17 BFG A/Ts just laying around (perks of being a mechanic) After that I plan of getting the Toytec 3" lift kit, and building my own swing out tire carrier. Maybe I can get Seebee's help for some of the specs on that... Caugh...Caugh...Hint...Hint...

That ladder looks great. Why couldnt they make cool stuff like that for the 4th gen?
