i'll be uploading pics later tonight, she's in the shop getting aligned, new wheel put on and tuned up. I couldn't get the rear bilsteins in because the PO actually drilled through the top nut and INTO the stud, about halfway.
I didn't want to risk snapping it on a trail or something so I only put in the springs. I love the feel so far but can't wait to truly test it after they do the tuneup and fix my swaybar bolt (snapped one putting it back on, getting the shop to drill and tap it out, as I snapped the drill and tap kit too).
ksunami, I believe they DO make it for the 4th gen too but it's a rack attachment. I've definitely seen some other 4th gens with ladders on this site.
Jonseyyy, howd you get the ladder on while your truck is at the dealer? I was just there dropping mine off and he told me he still had yours...

here are the pics! Alignment was only slightly off but the busted swaybar bolt was a pain for them, took a couple hours but didn't get charged for it all

Driveway is completely level. Notice it shows slightly higher in the front but I'm thinking it will be completely even when it levels out.
Ride is AWESOME, so happy with the results.

No need to hold back, my BBQ can hold its own. lol Maybe we should each bring some in October, if we all get the chance to meet up.

Jpless that rig looks great. I love the look of those wheels. I just found out that I will be getting my FJ swap for FREE!!! I may have to look into the 1/4" spacer for the front to get that nice level look. I just hope its enough to fit my 285/70s under.

On another note I should have my FJ by Saturday so that will be getting done soon. I think I am going to have to wait until I get more lift for my 285/70s to fit. Maybe I can convince my wife to let me get the lift sooner? Fingers crossed, wish me luck. Lol

Alright Gents, we need to start being proactive. Let's start listing dates for October that will be good for all of us so we can get this thing planned. I can pretty much work my schedule for any weekend. I plan on taking a day of leave on Friday to give myself a three-day weekend, thus giving myself more wheeling time. I would also like to do a night run since I missed it last year.

I'm free the weekends of Oct 1st and 22nd. Possibly the 15th also but I won't know until closer to October.

Well.... Bad News. I didnt get my free FJ swap 
the guy I was going to get it from was unable to locate the front suspension. But every clound has a silver lining. He offered me his OME Lift kit if I install the new lift that he is getting for his FJ. It is the full OME 3" with Medium Springs and all Shocks and struts only has about 5kmiles on it and has never seen anything but asphalt. Just proves its not what you know, its who you know. lol. Its good to have good friends. But I should be ready by October and I cant wait!!

What's up guys-just thought I'd say hello. I live in the Roanoke/Lynchburg area and will be getting (for free) a 2000 T4R sport next week . I'm not new to toyotas and currently own an 09 DC TRD OR 4x4 Tacoma. I was building my tacoma for camping/expo and will now be transferring everything over to the 4runner. Do you local guys ever meet up and wheel/camp? Thanks

I haven't done any wheeling in my t4r yet. I only have heard that Pots mountain was a place to wheel but I have never been up there. If you know of any places I would be happy to join. Hopefully I will have my OME kit soon.

everyone else, I'm in for October and co do pretty much any weekend with enough notice. It'll be the perfect time for camping!

I said there was a silver lining. lol. I know I am totally stoked about this. I hope to have the suspension, my tires and a CB install done by October. hmmmm... some offroad lights would be a nice addition too. Ehhh... maybe some other time. I still have to get some supplies together for the trip as well. Should I purchase some recovery gear for this trip? I plan on getting some, but was hoping I could wait for a while. I also need a tent, small charcoal grill, tarp, hatchet/hammer, rope, tent stakes, two poles (I plan on fabbing up a makeshift awning with the tarp and poles, ghetto but it will serve its purpose.
Seabee, sense you are bing as you say "pushy" does that mean you are volunteering to be the trip planer/orginizer?
We still need to get ideas together for some grubb, if any one else has any input just post it up.

I have an 8-person tent that can sleep 4-5 very comfortably. No weird night-time activities allowed and if you're too creepy when I meet you, you're not invited inside haha.
Other than that, no need to get supplies. I've got a recovery strap and a towhitch hook that we could use on any truck if needed and I know others have recovery gear as well. All we need is one strap for the whole group really. Had no close calls last time we all went out though.
Grills...Joneseyyy brought a gas coleman table-top last time that was perfect for camping. I also have one of those small webber's I can bring and charcoal so no need for those supplies either....get the lights! I'll drive behind you

Thanks jpless. I still believe that I will be getting a few of the items just to have for myself. The wife may come with me (she loves off roading) so a private tent will be a must, no offense
I still dont know how I want to mount the lights anyway, I dont want a bull bar, or a brush guard, and I am not a fan of them sititng on top of the bumper. I found a roof rack I LOVE made my GOBI its the Ranger full rack. and the light bar on it is perfect. I am so excited for this trip!

The rack would be AWESOME, i WISH i could afford that rack!
You could also bring lights and get a light bar from Seabee. I might do that if I can swing it but I'm about to head on vacation and doubt I'll have much to spend on the truck in the near future...
