I was just up there this past Saturday night. The leaves are already changing and it was beautiful. Flagpole was already taken, so we camped at Meadow Knob.

I am 99% sure I can make it that weekend, should be a good time. I'd suggest we get up there early in the afternoon to claim the spot.

Awesome! Yeah I'd be down to getting there early afternoon to claim and then maybe explore some / throw some football / drink some beers / etc. etc. etc.
 
I just got my OME installed and I'm down to break it in. I got 5 inches of lift in the front so back to the shop tomorrow to get it fixed. I'm getting my duratracs installed also. :party:

ksunami44 - I'm stealing your CB install, I just ordered all of the parts! Anyone have a SWR meter?

I've got an swr meter, also, lift is looking good! It will look much better with the new tires, and the OME will probably settle somewhat.

Looks good! Good luck with the install of the CB. I need to check the SWR on mine too. I also still have not decided on if I need to ground the antenna or not yet. Any ideas?
 
Looks like it was a good trip. Sorry I missed it. Some family stuff came up and it was my wifes bday. I hope to make the next one. any plans for another trip?
 
I will actually be back in Harrisonburg Friday night to help my sister celebrate her birthday, so if anyone is around Saturday AM I might go check some stuff out.
 
Just got my 4runner last weekend. I'm down for a trip with mild off roading over the next few weekend if anyone else is...totally stock for now.

Welcome to the site! Hopefully we can get a couple people to go soon. There are plenty of trails you can do stock in the GW Forest.

Joneyyy - Nice pics!! What trail is that? Also what recovery gear do you normally bring?
