Anybody with custom installed tablet?

Just read a review on a company that can have our aftermarket headunits use the power of our Android phones. Pretty cool, but I believe the best and cheapest way to accomplish this is to somehow find a way to custom-install a tablet where our HU's are.

The company's called Vias Tech (link) and it seems they do iPhone/iPod integration as well.

I almost installed a 7" Samsung tablet in the lid of the center console. It would take some hacking and re-covering with leather, but it would fit and be a cool auxiliary screen. Ended up not using it because I couldn't get the tablet to interface with my relay board the way I wanted. But it's still an option.
