Anyone dress up their rig for the hollidays?

When I was young my parents would alway put a nice wreath on the grill of their CJ7. They still do it but the Jeep is long gone. To this day, I still doctor up the rig for the holliday season. Helps to get into the spirit when it's 70' + out. Here's an example - pix was taken last year up in VA. No hills like that in Flori-duh! This year I want to expand to the roof rack.

Not to knock one's holiday spirit, but doesn't placing a reef smack dab in front of your grill restrict the airflow to your radiator somewhat? Especially if you are going fast enough that some pine needles are blown into the radiator fins? Meh, just wondering.

Unlikely it would affect cooling off the engine. Quite a few cars don't even have a grill, VW Passat comes to mine. My old Acura Integra had no grill area. And don't forget the wreath is out at Christmas time, usually a cold time of year.

My wreath is made out of artifical pine, i.e. plastic so no pine needles in the radiator.

We haven't done it this year yet, but if we do, we do all three cars, oh boy what fun.:awais:

AND before everyone just slams us for being overly tacky, all I can say is "Merry Christmas".

Truck decorations look nice but why are you having the wife cut down that "skinny" pathetic x-mas tree!

I was just told today, we won't be doing the wreath's on the cars. I think my not liking the wreaths may had a bit to do with it.

By the way, I am glad to see you got another 4Runner and you got rid of that Volvo.
