thanks for the replies...this helps influence my decision a bit. Now to shift the topic slightly. Many of the install threads for BudBuilt sliders mention 1 or more holes not lining up properly. Is this true for everyone or only some installs? Roughly how many bolts are holding the slider on each side?

I believe my drivers side had 1-2 more bolts than passenger. You are correct, not all the bolts line up, but there are plenty in place to keep it secure. You could always drill if you wanted, but I have no idea if that would affect the integrity of the slider's strength under pressure - probably negligible for 1-2 bolts?
