Anyone have this tire squeal?

I am trying to figure out why my tire screeches when i turn left on the road. It only seems to do it when i turn left sort of sharp. It does it when i am in 2wheel drive. It sounds like it is coming from the front tire. It isn't rubbing on the turn stops or rubbing on the fender flares or anything. I am running stock size tires. Thanks gentlemen and ladies! BTW my Runner is an 02 with 265 75 16s

Tires have plenty of tread left. I have no shake in the wheel while driving or pull in any direction.

Low tire pressure or really OLD tires?

I had the same problem turning right, just turned out to be 8+ year old Michelin LTX's with great tread left.

I also have LTx's. Did it go away when you got new rubber

I had the tire squeal noise with some Primewell HT tires, it started doing it when they had 25% tread left. I put some new Goodyears on and had the alignment checked (it was fine), the noise is gone.

Yes, it went away after I got some new tires.

I just went with the cheapest 31x10.5 tires I could get since I don't know when my 4runner would stop working (250k miles). Didn't want to fork out the extra cash for Michelin's again since I don't really drive that much anyways.
