Anyone from in here out in Oklahoma? Here in the next couple weeks I'll be convoying out there to work for Patterson-UTI. Thought maybe we could do a meet up.

I'm not sure yet. I start my new to industry training in June, and after I'm done with that they will assign me to a rig. I'm hoping that it won't be too far west.

I don't mind hard work if I get paid well and they promote me. Once I get to my rig and meet my coworkers and get settled in, the area manager has agreed to let me bring my shepherd when I convoy out and back from TN since weapons aren't allowed on the rig site and Patterson has the authority to do random vehicle searches.
