Anyone install SofTex in their '10-'13 model?

My cloth TE seats look decent now but in the future it would be nice to replace them with the new SofTex seat cushion covers. Would like to know if someone has does yet.

I don't think so,at least not that I have seen. If you can buy just the covers from Toyota it might be doable but I wouldn't be surprised if you have to buy the entire seat(s). At that price point I would have a high end upholstery shop custom makes something.

I don't know if anyone has done it but I would think that the seats are within the same specs, so if you just order the seat cover you should be ok. Mine got a small tear in it from one of our car seats, completely my fault and I ordered a replacement from here, just the seat cover.

You would have to pick the seat covers based on 2 row or 3 row vehicle.

Yep, luckily I only had to order one rear seat back, and honestly I really like the softex with kids. Just didn't loosen the car seat base enough when some one was getting into the third row and they pushed the seatback down into a metal latch piece of the car seat causing a puncture.

Wow yeah you are right, that is pricey. Maybe the best luck is to buy it from someone who has swapped it out for leather or something different. :shrug:

That would be the most cost friendly option. There are probably way more people who swapped out then can say they ordered factory softex seat covers to replace cloth. Most go the aftermarket route to upgrade.
