Anyone running rear Nitrochargers with 890 coils?

If so, which model are you running and how do they feel with the 890 rear coils?

I believe there are three models

• 60027
• 60028
• 60073

Was thinking about the 60073's... Hmmm

I have 890 coils w/ 60027 shocks. Lumber truck stiff empty, more agreeably stiff when loaded. These shocks don't seem to have the "smart" valving that Bilsteins do. They are the same stiffness for all types of hits; The Bilsteins are soft with slow hits but stiffen up with big hits, which is the better case IMO.
In 7 years of mostly empty, daily driving punctuated by the occasional fully loaded camping trip, the springs haven't sagged and the shocks haven't gotten softer.

That's very strange because bilsteins are digressive I believe. They definitely behave digressive to me, small bumps are harsh. Unless we are talking about different bilsteins? I was reading that the 6112's may be progressive-er.

1. You could be correct...maybe I got it backwards...it's been 7 years since I rode on the Bilsteins. In any case, they have a 'sophisticated' response that makes the OME 27's seem crude and unnecessarily stiff at all times. Something I immediately noticed coming from the Bilsteins on the old truck. They were the standard travel blue and yellow ones.

Been running the 890 + 60028 since 2013 (mostly unloaded) and they are definitely stiff AF. Can't really seem to feel any dual stage or smart valving with these, they are stiff at all speeds! For the first few months they were even stiffer...but after being broken in the performance has remained the same for years.

Good thing is they haven't sagged at all after 7 years.
