Anyone seen anything like this?

Just picked up a 2012 4runner on Wednesday night and just noticed this today. Front side of the engine - below valve cover ...think its called the cylinder head? anyway, both sides of the engine, just on the front, have all these surface cracks. i am a littler concerned...

Looks like casting marks. I wouldnt be concerned.

Yes, it is. Those are normal casting marks.

Just don't look from underneath, up towards your power steering pump, in about 20 or 30K miles when you develop a timing cover oil leak :welcome:
