Anyone used Coverlay dash covers?

Im glad you brought this up!
I was wondering who made this covers for a while. I bought a car many years ago (AE86) and the car had one of this covers installed. The guy had the cover for over 10 years and looked like he bought it yesterday. If anything happen to my t4r dash Im definitely buying one.

Ive got an 04 with dash cracks. Wife doesn't want to see them, but I want to make sure this won't look too "tacky".
 
It sucks that 4th gens seem to have issues with their dashes cracking but those covers look just as ugly as they did in the 70s. If they fit snug they would look better than as they look which is just a ill fitting piece of carpet on your dash unless somebody can show me they don't.
 
These aren't carpet. They are a plastic mold that is very thin I think I read 1/16 inch thick...supposed to fit super snug.
 
the installation video makes it look like a nice option for a cracked dash as opposed to just covering it up. ive got a faux suede cover which does not fit so well & attracts too much dog hair . if you get it, please post back how it is.

We used these on an older dodge V10 4x4 that we use to have. We did not glue it down good and it started making noise, but you could not tell it was there unless you looked for it. Pretty good product and way cheaper than a new dash.

I think our dodge cover was about $90.
 
I think Dodge truck is the vehicle that keeps them in business. I had one exactly like they show in their video and covered my old cracked dash with one. Good product. It matched the dodge interior perfectly. I don't know how it would look in a 4 runner. The coverlay for the dodge was hard plastic. The 4 runner has a soft dash. I wouldn't want to put a hard plastic cover over my dash pad.

Trust me, I had this on my car and you will never know theres a cover on top of your actual dash. If I had cracks on my dash (thanks God i dont) I would definitely buy one and post pictures. Theres a post here ***Cracked Dashboard Action Request*** and I doubt this people will have a replacement dash from Toyota manufacturer.
