Anyone wanna throw nylon grab handles on the existing grab handles?

Thinking about ordering 4 of these to replace the handles currently existing. The stock ones look like theyre made for clothes and I always feel like someone will break them. What do yall think? Cheesy? I think *****en

They look nice, and functional too. I think they would get on my nerves hanging down though. Maybe for the rear seats only...

I'd probably go with paracord if you're going for functional...

The problem that you will find is that it's no so much what the grab bars are made from as where they are attached. There's no threaded bolt hole for the grab bars if I remember right, it's a plastic expansion block that uses a coarse screw.

Iv seen those they're sweet, I'm just not a fan of the pattern. Reminds me of my military school days LOL

My 6 year old has trouble getting in my car, and it will be even worse when the lift gets here in a couple weeks and bigger tires go on. I was thinking of putting these somewhere lower so she has something to pull herself up by. Maybe the headrest posts? I still think that would be too high though.

I use something similar (diff color) to help facilitate getting into the 3rd row and they work slick, I don't want a 300lb-er yanking on them but they wouldn't be using the 3rd row I hope and maybe not the 4Runner at all as my gas mileage may matter (I kid/lol)

Agree, depending on direction of turn, the design looks like they will swing and hit ones head or window. They'd be on for about two minutes.

They boost up on the slider and the inside armrest and then grab those handles to get in. They also use them to pull up outta their booster seats.

They love 'em but keep asking me to "make the handles pink and purple".
