I will lurk around and see if I like it. A friend that has a WK recommended jeepforum but Im not sold on it. I cant wait to start tinkering with the Jeep, I had a TJ way back when and it was awesome as wll.

Didn't click the link but I have owed a 2500HD and driven a TDI v10 and my money is on the VW. More toque and better traction control and AWD.

I usually fly through Long Beach but it was +$200 to fly that way so I could put up with it for the money I saved.

So I drove a 2011 Jeep Compass today, it is a co workers wife's vehicle and I was picking it up at the dealer for him. It has 30,000 miles on it and drives worse and feels less solid than my 9 year old 4Runner with over 100,000 miles on it.

^^^yup. We had one as a rental last summer when my wife's Honda was getting repaired. What a POS.

Only thing I can say good about it was it didn't break during the 2 weeks we had it.

I was shocked, it's sad that the big 3 still can't help but fall into making 1 or 2 good vehicles and then having an entire line of crappy cars and cross overs to fill the void.

^I've heard that those compass's are especially crappy. Even for Chrysler.
