Uppers and possibly lowers(it already has longer fixed length lowers but the uppers are at a crazy / angle and the bushings are shot), Currie stuff is both out of my price range and over kill for my application. I only have around $300 to play with right now so I am going with Rusty's with heim ends.

As far as I can see that's the only original rubber underneath it, most everything else has been changed out within 8-12 months ago by the PO trying to track down DW I guess. I have a whole stack of receipts, including new track bar and tie rod with heim ends instead of tie rod ends like OE style.

The axle IMO looks too far aft, the bump stops actually almost touch the coils it appears. Also found a receipt from a clutch/flywheel/throw out bearing/pressure plate install with the memo "front suspension under great bind due to axle assembly being pushed back"

All that being said I can still drive it no problem, I can predict when and where death wobble will happen. I drove about 30 miles a day in it last week up to 60mph without incident. It only happens when I hit big bumps.
 
I hear the Rustys stuff is good quality its just dealing with the man thats a pain in the ass from what I hear over on jeepforum. But thats just some ppls opinion, doesn't make it so. My DW would start at 50. Throwing it into 4wd stops it immediatly in case of emergency. There really should be a class action lawsuit with all the millions of jeeps afflicted with DW. Good luck

So, a friend and I were hiking in the woods yesterday with my two dogs. Only went for a short hike, maybe half hour or so. We were almost back at the parking lot just cresting a hill when I spotted what I thought was a guy standing next to a tree. A second later I realized he was not standing, he was hanging. Some poor bastard had hung himself and we were the ones to find him. As soon as i realized what i was looking at i went running over but once i got close it was clear it was too late. Hands and area around mouth were purple/blackish. Ladder leaned up against tree and a saw and a few other things in the snow on the ground below. So brutal.

Only one other vehicle in the parking lot. There was a receipt on the tonneau cover of the truck from a hardware store for a ladder, saw and a couple other things. Dated feb 14, 12:30 pm. It was about 4:30 when we found him.

yeah I noticed that rear steer too - I watched it thinking there would be some good romping around with those huge trucks, and the whole time they're just going 5mph through, what those trucks would call a "puddle" lol I thought it was going to get interesting but it never happened

Can anyone recommend any good stops on the west coast between BC and california? Been thinking about making that road trip for quite awhile. Would just like to get an idea of good places to stop, things to see and places to stay/camp.

Oregon Vortex!!!! Right around Roseburg Oregon or Medford. I've been there but never got a chance to go inside, they were closed. http://www.oregonvortex.com

Lake Shasta is pretty cool in Norcal too.

lol. i dont really understand this vortex thing? Is it some kind of strange optical illusion??

Is this related to that place where the gravity is supposed to be 'different' and things will lean at strange angles and stuff?

Yeah it's some weird magnetic hotspot. I remember reading that in certain spots, I think inside that shack, balls roll uphill and weird stuff like that. Pretty cool though, there are only a couple spots in the world like that. I've always wanted to check it out and the time I actually made it, it was closed. I was pissed lol.

There's also Wildlife Safari around Roseburg area. That place is pretty cool, depends on how much time you have though.
