Anything that I can do to quiet down my Cherrybomb?

That's the truth. After 50 MPH you can't even hear the Cherrybomb.

Just wondering, how old are you?

I'm 18, but if I was over like 35 I'm sure the Cherrybomb would be too loud for me.

I guess that's true, when I was 18 I didnt care much about the neighbors....:

Now that I am older I prefer a nice low growl without being offensive and/or waking up my neighbors at 6am.....

Not sure if that was suppose to be offense, but it sorta came across that way.

Just because I have a Cherrybomb or subs doesn't mean I use them in an inappropriate way. Sure some teens do, but generalizing isn't fair.

Sorry, wasn't meant to be offensive. Just stating what I was like when I was 18 and you are very right in saying that if these items (mufflers, subs) are used in an appropriate way than that is being very responsible. Good on you my friend....

UPDATE: ok I know that a few weeks have passed but here is the update. I purchased a Flowmaster 50 series muffler last week and had it installed yesterday.

I have to say that I am thoroughly satisfied with the tone and the level of sound. The Flowmaster 50 series seems to be about 30% quieter outside and 20% quieter inside the vehicle.

Yet, there is still a very noticeable "deep growl" when excelerating.

It seemed that I had a loss of power at the bottom end with the Vortex, where as with the Flowmaster it feels that I have much more exceleration off the line. Very noticeable to me.

I would recommend it! Now hopefully I can get 50 bucks for the vortex....
