Anyway to have remote unlock all doors 1 push?

I've got a Trail would like to have the remote/key unlock all the doors with 1 push instead of 2... anyway to change?

Revos are so much better than stock. I noticed the difference instantly when I was hopping a curb.

I was able to see how they perform this season when snow was falling on the highway.
I'd love to try Snow Wheeling.

Anywho...they are good A/T. I got them before I was introduced to offroading.

Now...since I've been offroading. I want M/Ts.

BFG M/T KM2s to be exact. :bluejump:

I'm not for certain but I believe if you press all three buttons on your fob at the same time for 5 seconds it will let it unlock all doors with one push. This could just be on the SmartKey but . . worth a shot.

Your's doesn't lock all door when you hit the LOCK button once?

Sounds bizarre.

Check with your dealer or ask your sales rep and see if they can change the settings for free. It's the C-BEST settings, and there are other parameters that can be changed, auto on/off headlight sensitivity, etc.

I had my dealer program several things on my Limited, like turning off the seat belt chime, but they told me there was no option for one-push unlock of all the doors. If someone knows for sure this can be done and tell me which option this is I will ask them again. Thanks...

Program the SmartKey lock fob for one press or two to unlock all doors:

You don't need the dealer to do this - you can do it yourself. It probably works on other Toyota lock options, also, but I haven't tried it. This may not be the only way to do it, but I know this method works on my 5g Limited to TOGGLE the mode on or off:

1. Hold both Lock and Unlock buttons depressed on the fob.
2. At the same time, press the Panic button for five seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Release all buttons.

The unlock mode is now toggled to the alternate mode. Simply repeat the procedure to return to the previous mode.

Thanks ckon, I'll give that a try. Funny that the dealer did not know anything about this, but I guess not surprising. I had them turn off the panic button so I hope it still works!

If the Panic button has been disabled, this method may NOT work. Keep us posted.

I gave it a shot with my SR5 a couple times, no luck. I tried pressing all 3 at the same time and holding them. I tried holding the unlock/lock for a split second then adding the panic, all for 5+ seconds. Never heard any beeps. Tested the locks and everything still operates 'normal'. If anyone else wants to give it a shot please do, curious if your will work. I would love a one button unlock all option!

Just went through the manual. I do not see where one can get this option programed either by the customer, or the dealer. I have an 01 Avalon, same problem, no way to unlock the drivers door and the passenger doors with one touch of the remote....it is a pain. (This with a remote key, not the smart key).

It doesn't seem like being able to change the function of the remote would be a feature of only the SmartKey, but maybe it is? Anybody else who's tried this out there?

the dealer is doing mine tomorrow..also reprogramming the doors to all unlock when i put my hand in drivers handle and getting rid of the seatbeat song! ill let you know how it goes

On your Limited with the smart key,you can change whether you want all the doors to unlock by the touch on the doorhandle yourself.The video tells you how to custimize that about 2 minutes in.I changed mine the first day.

Ask the dealer if it can be programmed to unlock all the doors with a push of the unlock button on the remote.It does'nt mention it in the manual.

Wierd things about this video. What color blue is that right at the beginning after the lead in?It sure doesn't look like shoreline blue.
also...in the one shot ,he is using the smart key on a Trail Ed. which I did'nt think was an option.

I tried this today. Worked perfectly!! I now have to look into how to get my wife's camry to do the same thing. She has the standard key fob. I have always been annoyed by having to push the button twice to unlock all of the doors...NO LONGER!

Can you do the seatbelt chime yourself? On my Subaru I just had to plug and unplug the seatbelt like 20 times in like 20 seconds with the key switch in on (not started). I thought that was a standard thing.
