And by the way all the video I shot was recorded in 4K so depending on what the output is on what you are watching it on is what you'll get.
Plus it gets washed out (resolution video quality) with each process it goes through like the video editor app washes it to 1080hd then you have YouTube which then it goes down to 720 or you can select the better quality by clicking on the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the video screen and select quality of your choice.

But if any of you want the video in true 4K (which looks awesome) next time you see me just bring a memory stick or your laptop and I can get it uploaded for you I always have my iPad and memory cards, USB sticks, Apple external sticks, micro memory cards etc etc with me

All the video Mac shot with my other GoPro is in 2k he filled up a 8gb, 16gb and almost a 32gb.

I almost filled up 2 64gb all in 4K at 30fps

So there's a shiiit tone of footage...

I'm heading out tomorrow (Friday night around 7p from around Mira Mesa area) with a friend. If anyone still wants to come this weekend, let me know. We're going to camp somewhere early Friday night right when we arrive into the first wash: Canyon Sin Nombre.

Planning on doing a little of everything.. few short hikes (mud caves, wind caves), go fast washes, a few technical trails (check out Sandstone at least and maybe Broken Shaft Gulch), and then head North to Truckhaven area through Ocotillo and maybe Calcite Mine.

Soooo...basically doing the run we just did in reverse, pretty much. That might help others less knowledgeable of the area get a better understanding of what "your planned" route is.

Are you serious?
Were you ever in front of my camera? Nope only a few times...so that might explain why your "barely" in it.

Unless you were in front of me or Mac ...you and your badass maneuvers will barely be in any of the video clips.

I still have to go thru all the footage Mac shot..
And just FYI anything I come across that has anyone doing hard or technical sections from the run I keep in...and if there's not a lot of that then I fill in with the fast driving shiiit...

Like I tell everyone if wanna be in the vid I suggest being a video whore and stay in front of my rig ..when people speed away well there goes your shot.. or if I have a camera mounted on the rear ..stay right behind me and be a video whore...
I know I would ..no shame
Sometimes I stick a camera on someone else's rig just so I can finally get footage of myself ...and be a video slut. We all like to get in the footage.

Then stay in front of the CAMERA!!!

Ive been out here for 3 weeks just go home on the weekends..remodeling my chicks one of her brothers new condo he just bought ..room by room the whole dam thing and then her other brother just bought one as well in Ontario and he wants me to do the same thing when I'm done here which at this rate will be another few months being a one man band.. there cool with it I'm cool with it more cash in my pocket.

Need your advice on tires. Discount is running a deal now and I'm torn between Cooper STT pro, Cooper AT3, Wildpeaks (what I run now. Getting 285/70 instead), or K02s. I'm leaning towards the STT pro mud terrains but not sure if its overkill. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking at discount tire physical store or discount tire direct on ebay which I recommend due to the $100 off over $400 on already low price. What you can do is buy 2 tires and get $100 off and use another ebay account to buy another 2 tires to get the second $100 off. Basically $200 off on 4 tires.

As far as the tires, if it's your DD its better to stay AT tires and still great off roading. KO2's are very popular. STT is pretty good as well not too aggressive MT. I'm running BFG KM2's but I only use Lucy Pearl offroading and Lola is my DD running Hankook Dynapro ATM.

I do plan to purchase through Discount eBay. I was leading towards the STT Pro. The K02s are nice but are priced more. I do like my wildpeaks also, they're nice and quiet and did pretty well I think on our last outing.
