For ANYONE that wants do some pew pew ...myself included there is a designated shooting area just south of the fish creek entrance /trailhead that we can go do some pew pew..,the rest of the time just put them away gun in one location and ammo in another. And don't be an idiot during the trip and there will be no issues.

I feel good,amped and like a kid going to Disneyland for there first time!!
This puts no kink in our plans ...it's Anza Borrego and Ocotillo ...it's HUGE ASSSS DESERT!!! with plenty of designated camping areas and none designated areas which either will be able to accommodate our group.
Also just FYI if need to be ...ALL of Truckhaven is open camping and campfires are allowed with no restrictions up to any size. We could take up one of the finger coves in there and be blocked from any possible wind, have a a big ass fire without having to haul fire pits, be at our following day General location area already and not worry about any subeees jamming up our fun!!!

If this is something to be considered ...then you could also just do the planned day's runs in reverse and just meet at the red rock casino parking lot which is gynormous, has cheap asss gas to top off, last minute food,snacks,drinks, supplies as well. And the trails start just 1 mile past is Coral Wash >truckhaven trail >4x4 obstacle park> Arroyo salido wash>Palm wash>pumpkin patch>phone booth >mutant BBQ >the notches>the arches>calcite mine>gas domes>coyote canyon>upper coyote canyon>sheep canyon>alcoholic Pass and to camp for evening festivities.oh and did I mention this means no subees to worry about jamming up our fun!!!

When there exiting Fish Creek we will be entering ...

Worst case I have a Tacoma buddy camping at Superstition, we can always go crash his party, haha. I may do a night run over to go tell him to **** himself.

I'm assuming these are the same as that map you already posted? I did the kml thing and loaded everything onto my tablet. You are a wealth of off road knowledge my brotha.
 
Gonna have to pull myself out of this one. Was hoping to have the 4runner up in running by this weekend. Gonna have to wait till the next one.

I like this plan a lot better. Just an fyi, there is a very large sort of jeep jamboree at Superstition Mountain. Glad we are staying away from there as well.
