Has anyone been up Sandstone canyon recently, last time I went it was blocked with a collapse from the canyon sidewalls about a year ago. I've heard it collapsed again and now you can't go very far at all into the canyon and there's no room to turn around. [MENTION=117408]Oneluv13T4R[/MENTION] you have any intel on this?

I was just out there a couple months ago and everything was just the same. You could turn around where it had collapsed before. But even then you can still go over the collapsed part now. Some heepers made some tracks going over it I even scoped it out and ran my rig up it to see if would be doable. [MENTION=143757]MisterNickG[/MENTION] looked at me like your crazy I'm not going over that. Haha but also before that there's where a small section had collapsed "slab gap" which I think came down at the same time as the rest.

Sandstone Canyon

Was in Sandstone Canyon 2 weekends ago. That first collapse is doable with spotting and sliders. Looks exactly the same as the picture. Not sure what it looks like past it as I didn't have sliders installed then...but ample room before to turn around.

Where would I be able to meet u guys up either Saturday night or Sunday morning? I work sat, if things go right, I would meet up at the camp spot around 9pm, if not, I could be there first thing in the am cooking bfast while yal are fast asleep. Lol.

The campsite is very easy to find if you were to come Saturday night or Sunday morning. Or you can meet us at the gas station in borrego springs. I suspect we won't be rolling out of camp that quickly so it's up to you

I was out in Blair Valley yesterday to check out the pictographs and the Marshall South Home on Ghost Mountain and it was raining off & on from Pala reservation all the way to the desert. It stopped sprinkling after we started hiking around 10:30am. I stayed away from any canyons/ washes to avoid flash floods. There was just enough water on the trail to make make it tacky and dust free while ripping around Little Blair Valley like I was pre running the Baja 1000 :lookout:

Reminded me of the Big Bear White Mountain run when Miah let us loose single file in that valley!
