In for camping, but may continue on through fish creek to the primitive sites (toilets for the lady). Then will meet back up on Sunday morning. I have a fire tray as well.

Awesome. That tent is so freaking easy it's unreal. We'll see how it holds up over time, but for a 100 bucks you can't go wrong.

Hopefully, that tent is pretty breezy up at the top so you'll lose some of that heat but it's better than nothing. I'm already pricing out 0 degree bags and insulated sleeping pads to go on the cot. haha. Got myself some THICK wool socks too.

I'm debating to get a sub 0 sleeping bag. I'm thinking about this one:

This one has pretty good reviews. It's a 15F degree bag, but I think with an insulated pad and the right clothing it will be perfect. Then I'll have my 30 degree bag for Spring/Summer trips.

All I know is I'm going to have an F"ing heater, insulated pad/mattress, sub 0 deg sleeping bag, clothes and wool socks...LOL!!!!

I was debating a heater, but then that means I have to carry propane. Figured I'd get the right camping gear first and go from there. Honestly, my upper body was staying plenty warm in my 30 degree bag, it was my feet that kept making me wake up cold. Too much empty space down at the bottom of the sleeping bag and not warm enough socks.
