Hey guys, man what an epic run! Not only was the wheeling fun but the camping was even funner!!!!!!! I'm definitely camping at the Jtree trip. Thanks to Al and Miah for organizing, leading, and getting us lost lmao! Big props to all the 1st timers that came out with the group especially the second day there was definitely some technical rocks/ boulders to get through.

Here's some pics of the muddy after math...took me over 2hrs of power washing in my driveway to get 90% of the mud off.

Still working on mine, got a bunch off yesterday but there's still plenty. Need to pull my skids off to clear this mess.

That was fun getting stuck and almost flipping reversing but had to try. I would have made if wasn't for the loose dirt! Hehe! Thanks for the rescue squad!

Drunner you need a pressure washer!

Big time. I have a place I go to, but by the time I was going to make it over there I was exhausted. Might be worth buying another one if I'm gonna keep spending 10-15 bucks a round. I would have preferred to avoid that exit mud if I'd known about it, haha.

I couldn't wait so I used the jet setting on my hose gun and went to town with the mud. If it was thick mud, I sprayed it closer. Worked great and got just about all of the mud off. Drunner, I had a big slab of mud on my skid plate and that's why it was hanging! I know I picked it up reversing when we got stuck! Haha!

I spent about $20 just trying to get my undercarriage. In an effort to get rid of the mud, I put on my wetsuit and safety google and climbed under my rig with a spray hose in hand. Worked great but is a cold, ugly, messy mud in your hair experience, but she is back to pristine. I know I got OCD.

2.5 hrs pressure washing and a drive thru car wash and stiiiiiill dirty...lol i definately took a piece of anza home with me... also anybody know why the mud made my tires blue? And how to make it not blue? Without buying new tires!

dude yeah. I'm pretty sure most of that mud in my skid plate is from backing up. It's only in my transfer case and transmission skid. Front skid is empty.

The plan is to get as much off as possible before it starts raining. Get the skids off, and then let the water from the road blast the rest off. That's how I cleaned it last time hahah.

Looks like you ran over a smurf in Anza. Maybe Gargamel can help put a concoction together that will remove it?

I didn't even change. As soon as I got home, my boys and I unloaded the roof rack and started spraying...shirt, jeans, shoes were hella wet! It looked like I took a shower outside! I didn't even care if it was cold!! The wife said "You better get undress in the garage and not track all that mud in the house, I just cleaned the floor...So underwear to the showe!! HAHA!

[MENTION=140577]ChrisLe777[/MENTION] it is from the mud being acidic or having too much nitrogen, don't know specifically know for sure, but people say you can scrub then good with a scrub brush and some powder detergent and then amoral them.

Yea i figured some sort of mineral or something like that in the mud reacting with the rubber... guess i need to do some scrubbing orrrrr buy some 33"s

It took me 2.5 hrs and with my pressure washer to clean my rig and my in laws tacoma. I'm so glad I have it. Comes in handy all the time.

Just shoved it in the holes in the skids and that worked well enough.

Nope not this time, there was no nitrogen, or chemical reaction with mininerals that made your tire blue....but I know what did hahahahaha!!

Ohhhhh, I'm intrigued now, especially if you're right. I mean, I thought the smurf theory was pretty good. I'm guessing you rubbed up against something when you were stuck or when we were shooting.
