Here are two photos of an often photographed hill along Hell's Revenge. I remember a shot of the testing of the Porche Cayanne crew climbing these hills. Must be nice to not have to pay for damage.

Here is the photo from the other side. Remember though, these photos flatten the topo. When you are at the edge or bottom of these hills you would have to be nuts to not have a great deal of concern.

Sorry for the poor quality of this photo. William took this photo with a throw-away camera. But this shot shows a fun hill where the path is critical. The face of the slope rolls off on the right and left. On the motorycles we had our rear tire sliding a lot as the slope is a lot steeper than it looks here.

Some of the trails are quite a bit higher than the valley floor. This shot is from the Golden Spike trail.

I was wondering how the trip went - loved the shot of the KTM! One of these days I will get the LC4 out west. We have a trip to the Mts. of Virgina next week. Flori-duh is so darn flat. I how did you get the bike out there? I use a the Versa-Hauler - fits in the reciever hitch and the bike sits across the back.

3 bikes on a Texas golf cart trailer. Pulls like a champ at 100+ mph. (As I recall, that speed was on a closed circut course with a professional driver.) The top speed on the way to Moab was only 90, per the GPS.

The 4Runner required premium gas when pulling the trailer over the mountains.

Awesome pictures. Your photos bring back great memories of riding around Moab. It's like being on another planet. That sandstone rock is the best traction on earth (seriously doubt you had the rear bike tires spinning on it - the traction is so strong, the bike will loop way sooner than spin the wheels.) I'm really jealous of your trip.
