I had a guy a few years ago tell me AK's were drying up too

Well he was technically right, the real AK's are drying up fast. I have an Egyptian Maadi that I got a few years ago and now it is worth more than double. Look them up.
AR-15's are gonna be around for a while, but the military is slowly switching over to a new round,

Some AK's I can understand, but those are few and far between. This particular guy had a $750 price tag on a WASR Romanian AK... Those are plentiful. Just like the BCG, popular brands such as a Colt BCG, spikes, DD, etc may be hard to get.
