ARB Compressor hose replacement, this or that?

So after 8 years my ARB orange hose has bit the dust. When I went to use it there was cracks and leaks all over.

When I went to order a new kit the price went from 40$ (2017 price), to now 99$

Is there some magical juju in the hose to validate the price or just run with amazons next pick for hose.

An air hose is an air hose....but there are good and bad quality air hoses, and of course with the ARB kit you're paying a premium not just for the air hose but also paying out the nose for the "accessories", I would go to a local hardware store or tool store like Harbor Freight even Home Depot or Lowe's and pick up the best hose they have and even get some "accessories" and still come out paying way less money!

ARB hoses don't have any special magic, you're paying extra for higher quality materials, good heat resistance, durable connectors and convenience (full kit). If you're doing light, occasional use, a good quality aftermarket hose (like Fypower) is perfectly adequate. If you're doing heavy, frequent, harsh environments, then ARB is worth the money.

Picked up Harbor freight 25' blue with 1/4 npt ends. Time will see if inexpensive is smart
