Found this on my local craigslist and was seeing if anyone was interested. arb bumper for 96-2002 4 runner I could pick it up and hold it till you could get it. I'd prefer not to ship though.

i think im gonna have my best friends dad pick up that snorkel, he lives in napa county and goes over to santa rosa all the time, but that bumper is crazy, that thing is dented and will take some fab work to make it work on a 4runner... would be cheaper to buy a new tacoma bumper for $700 and then it would fit perfectly and not be dented to scratched, that guy wants too much for it i think

i dont get it? i maybe wrong but all i see is 1 dent. the seller says "a couple of dents on the top of the tubing" . but really i dont see anything terribly wrong where you would have to fab it to make it work again..

I hate ARB bumpers. I have never been a fan of them and I don't have the cash for it. I have to buy tires this weekend so a no go for the bumper.

prados are way bigger than our 4runner or tacomas, this bumper is about 3" too wide and way too long and the mounts are different

He says he had it on his 4runner though so he knows how it mounts up.

Yeah Kid is right..l I had that same bumper on my rig and it was about 1 inch wider than my LIMITED flares.. It took some serious jerry rigging to get it fitted up to my truck and wasnt that strong at all... So if I were you I would pass. I dont care what the owner says or had it on.. It will leave some serious gaps that would be hard to fill and its hard to mount... I wished I had the pictures still but the only thing mine had to mount it up is 2 Metal plates (3/16 steel) with 3 bolt holes in each of them coming off the back of the bumper. And they are nothing like the tacoma arb bumpers that I have seen pics of.
I would just go with the Tacoma ARB bumpers. They match up to our rigs better and look cleaner.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Not strong? Are you joking? They are the same thing dude. Ones wider to compensate for the prados wider flares and the bar sits a couple inches higher. I personally have zero complaints with mine. Its strong as hell, and would buy another.
And I have hit plenty of stuff from trees to cars to rocks and snow banks. Mine's not what one would call "weak", and this is hardly and inch or Two.

I think he meant the jerry rigged mounts weren't strong but I don't want to put words in his mouth.

Thanks cj and that's exactly what I meant.. the mounting brakets I had on mine were terrible.. I litteraly took them off with a carpenters hammer. To say an arb isn't strong would be rediculous and I'm pretty amazed you would think anyone one this forum would say something like that after seeing some of the pictures on here of wrecks with and with out arb bumpers... The differnce is amazing and the strength of these things speak for themselves.. so you should gear down before you wreck yourself..
