ARB Roof Rack Tire Mount

I don't have an ARB rack (Rola), but was able to make this work. The way the thing connects to the rack, it doesn't have to be exactly the right span for the bars.
It is a Defender Roof Rack Spare Tire Mount.

ARB Mounts
We just purchased modular mount rings to mount the awning to our roof. It was expensive, but easy to install and very durable.

Looks like you're new here, so welcome to T4R from another Ohio member!
I think this thread was about a tire mount rather than an awning mount.
The previously posted mount looks like a good option, I wouldn't mind the option to roof mount mine since it rode along with me inside the car all weekend this past weekend which wasn't the best. I'd be tempted to just make my own mount out of an old wheel bearing or something similar, could also be a good opportunity to keep a spare wheel bearing just in case!
