ARB skids and diff drop

Well, I tried to install my ARB skids today and they wouldn't fit with the diff drop. So, does anyone know if I will need to have an alignment done if I remove the diff drop?

You do not need an alignment. The diff drop does not affect steering components.

I'm at about 2.5 inches in front. 1.5" SAWs in rear....which are closer to 1.75" on the 4r.

Shouldn't need it until you get past 3". Maybe consider taking it off if you can't get the skids to fit
