Are 15' & 16' Runners basically the same?

Sorry for the noob question...
But just ordered a 16' and wanted to order some parts before it gets here.

Namely the Husky floor mats and WeatherTech inside the channel window deflectors (vents)

The Husky website doesn't show the 16' listed yet, and WeatherTech; which is only 45 mins from me, doesn't show the window vents yet. I emailed Weather Tech and they said their engineers have not had a 16' in the studio yet to confirm dimensions, specs, etc. So .they said they cannot confirm the 15' Runner parts will work

Sooo.....anyone here have a 16' Runner with mats and window vents spec'd out for a 15'?

Thanks!

Thank you. Just went thru the thread. Looks to be no major changes, that would keep me from ordering the above items.

That thread is pretty useless, just like a lot of other t4r (all forums really) threads it spends way too much time arguing instead of simple brief answers.....I just went through 4 pages and couldn't find definitive answers.....thanks to the op for pointing me to the treasure.

If I remember correctly there was a lot of speculative BS thrown around in that thread, but the first post pretty much answered the question here. The 15' and 16" aren't basically the same, they are the exact same. In terms of floor mats, those have not changed since 2010.

Curious as to why you're opting for Husky over Weathertech liners. I've got X-Act Contours in my Tacoma, and love them. Not available for 4Runners, though. So debating between Husky Weatherbeaters and Weathertechs.

2015 and 2016 the are same exact cars minus the new colors available for the trd pro. That's why my car has automatically changed from a 2015 to a 2016.

Just traded my 2013 in on a 2016 and my weathertechs fit like a glove

I have a 2016 4Runner and ordered the Husky Weatherbeater mats (front, rear, and cargo) and Weathertech visors (front and rear) for a 2015 4Runner. Perfect fit.

For the question on why Husky instead of Weathertech mats. All of my truck (3 Tacomas, Dodge 2500, and a Tundra) have had Weathertechs. I ordered the Huskys for the 4Runner because I thought I'd be adventurous and try something new. The Huskys are hands down higher quality fit and finish than the Weathertechs.

Well this is my first 4Runner, so I cant speak to the fit/quality. But I've had two other Hummer H2's, and ditched the Weather Techs for the Husky's as I didnt like the fit/finish or how they sat in the H2.

I've got an H3 that I'm going to be trading in for a 4runner. Not quite as big of a change as coming from a H2. You may miss the big v8 power, but you'll love getting almost double the MPG you were getting before. :)

I hope so. I test drove a 16' Trail Premium and really liked the roominess in it.
